I actually think that Arnold has done a far better job than predecessor did, a 30 year veteran in politics. His greatest asset above all is that he owe no political debts to anyone. He'll get more done in the aggregate for California. What qualifies a career politician from holding public office anyways? Most of the political class is severely out of touch at any rate. Arnold may not know the nuances of public policy, but certainly he has more sense than a lot of other politicians out there.
