Red Light District

The Red Light District in Amsterdam is perhaps the most famous Red Light District in the world. It's a maze of alleys made up of one room bedroom apartments in which prostitutes (legal in Amsterdam) offer their services. Walking through the Red Light District, a tourist is "pitched" by various prostitutes through windows.

Instead of these abodes of immorality, I propose what could be called a Green Light District, massive recreational areas that the entire family can enjoy. These areas wouldn't stand a chance if the world had even just one superhero, and should be shut down and corrected anyway.

09/27/2007		Hope you accept that others feel that it's not immoral. When you say this area should be shut down, you're trying to impose your morality upon others. That's a no-no. Fortunately the Dutch have a different view of this kind of thing and believe in freedom in many different areas, many of which I'm sure you would disapprove of, but their idea of freedom is a model for the rest of the world. If you disapprove of the Red Light District, just don't go there. Prostitution has been around as long as mankind has, and it isn't going away.
