Though the Alan Parsons Project released better singles than Eye In The Sky, this one had some substantial commercial success. The single appears on the 1982 full-length effort of the same name which examines the threat of Big Brother on human privacy, certainly an issue that is of importance today. Parsons' long-time collaborator and vocalist Eric Woolfson provides the vocals on this single. Eye In The Sky charted in the U.S for 17 weeks in 1982, peaking at #3.
