When he wanted to be, he was an excellent fielder with a laser for an arm. He didn't always want to be, and that distinctly keeps him from the top tier. As a hitter the power stats are pretty impressive, although every time I saw him play it looked like he was jaking it. There'd be this little lazy swing, the ball would go five hundred feet and he'd trot around the bases. He made power look effortless. I'll always wonder what he'd have done with a little more want to.
