I don't think she could beat Bush. She's very intelligent and capable, but she is not a personable politician. If she ran, I 'm sure the Republicans would bring up all the Bill Clinton-associated garbage about Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, and God knows what else. I 'm not condoning the Republicans for their attack tactics, but I would not anticipate a campaign where all that old nonsense would be raked over the coals. She would be too busy defending herself and her husband to be an effective campaigner.
