After 1 1/2 years since the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire went off the air thanks to the network that injured it with special editions and 4 airings a week, the series returned on ABC for a truly special week's worth of shows. Reason for why the shows were special? Hence the name Super Millionaire and a rather large paycheck for $10 million dollars. Another difference with Super Millionaire, 2 new lifelines are added when a contestant reaches the hard to reach New Dimension, which includes questions for $1 million to $10 million. Those lifelines were Double Dip and Three Wise Men. Double Dip is almost the same as 50/50, except this time you have two chances to pick the right answer. Three Wise Men is pretty much self-explanatory. Everything including Regis Philbin returned to their rightful as well. In Super Millionaire's first run, there were no multi-millionaires, but the show's original question (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?) was answered by who shall always be known as Bob-O. Super Millionaire shall return in May of this year and possibly other certain points in time. Who knows, even you reading this can be a Super Millionaire Everyone does!
