Gene Keady (Purdue)

Gene Keady became head coach of the Purdue Boilermakers in 1980 following one year as the head coach of Western Kentucky. Gene Keady is Purdue's all time winningest coach and had led the Boilermakers to six Big Ten titles at the time of this entry.

Great career at Purdue. Always managed to have one of the better teams in the Big10 without the talent of IU, Michigan, Mich St, etc. The last few years have not been great, but it is hard to get decent players without a long term contract.
