Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin)

Camp Randall Stadium has a seating capacity of over 76,000. Camp Randall Stadium was built in 1917 and has undergone several renovations including major efforts in 1958 and 1966. Camp Randall Stadium is situated on a former Civil War training center that was named for the first governnor of Wisconsin.

Biased as a season ticket holder I again love this place! Widely accepted as the toughest (and loudest) place to play in the Big 10. I've been to all the stadiums in the Big 10 and many throughout the country and none outside of the SEC matches the intensity and fanfare of Camp Randall. Get to campus early! If it's an ABC 2:30 kickoff or a night game...WATCH OUT! Fans love the band almost as much as their Badgers. The crowd is unbelieveable...beyond what words can adequitely describe. If you have the opportunity come for a game against Michigan or Ohio State. No love lost and a raucous environment.
