brisbane is by far not the best city in australia.Ive never come across a more parochial place in all my life theres no beaches except for the fake one at southbank which is always overcrowded on weekends.Its got dreadfull humidity in summer. Is planned like a dogs dinner.The urban congestion is gettin worse fast.After living in Perth I noticed how scruffy the place is too.The biggest cultural event in this god forsackin place is the State of Origin rugby match & the river is a polluted brown an murcky water flow nothin like the azure blue of the swan river but is slowly improving .what else ahh yes level 5 water restrictions & a lack of social sophistication ie. bogans abound everywhere oh well there are worse places at least the airpoets good so you can leave this overrated city quite effectively
