We have a two year old R-1505 over the range Sharp. The control panel started malfunctioning about 6 months ago, now it barely works.
The over starts ALL BY ITSELF with no one around. We have resorted to keeping a mug of water in it, just in case.
When you can operate it, closing the door and pressing 'start' sends it into a frenzy of adding one minute onto your pre-set cook time, sometimes up to 10 minutes extra.
Bah! Using two sticks to make fire would be better.
