As noted in other comments, the medical profession often comes with grueling hours (especially early one), large amounts of educational debt, and high risks in our contemporary litigious society. On top of these concerns, one must have the stomach for disease, gore and misery. While I have the utmost (5 star) respect for those in the medical profession, I could never do it and the downside is just too steep to merit more than three stars in the big picture.
