ItemImage

From Wikipedia: "Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826)[1] was the third President of the United States (1801–1809), the principal author of the Declaration of Independence (1776), and one of the most influential Founding Fathers for his promotion of the ideals of republicanism in the United States. Major events during his presidency include the Louisiana Purchase (1803) and the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804–1806)."

I agree with Mysteryman that without Jefferson there may not have been a United States. Let me up that one, without a Constitution based on The Ten Commandments and God fearing, there would not be a U.S. The great Forefathers understood that it cannot be left up to man to decide what is right and wrong. The only thing that divides a Democracy and Communism is GOD. "The GOD who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time." ~~~Thomas Jefferson
