My feelings on this election are quite mixed, I truly do not know who to throw my support behind. I am not particularly fond of either candidate. One is a so-called compassionate conservative who refuses to admit to his mistakes as a leader and fails to take responsibility for the faults of his administration. The other is a bonafide waffler who will say anything to get elected. While I can honestly say that I have reservations about John Kerry and have absolutely no idea just what he stands for, I cringe at the thought of another four years of Bush. As an incumbent president running for re-election, I have a feeling that many of his decisions are politically driven. If re-elected, he would have no one to answer to and it is truly difficult to tell what sort of agenda he would pursue, both at home and abroad. This is election that is quite unique as it does not fit the traditional mold of a choice between the lesser of the two evils. I truly do not know what Kerry would do as President, but I am afraid I do not want to know what sort of policies Bush would pursue if re-elected.
