In the aftermath of Bob Edwards' leaving, the clear rightish tilt to the slate and angle of stories makes it feel like an insipid Rush/Fox show with too-young adenoidal voices doing the bobble-headed chit-chat. Clearly, the Bush people got what they wanted here in placing the board people they named: silence from thoughtful critics. I no longer need to hear Morning Edition, as I did for several decades. It's a loss.
