Overall, the Jetta's a very attractive package that's hard to turn away from. Unfortunately, quality problems have plagued VW's lineup (per JD Power) with the exception of the Passat, which is only average. Combined with the recent reduction of the warranty to only a very slightly-better than average term, and this is one car that I would avoid.
