George W. Bush (2001-2008) 3

All the little goobers must be thrilled now that they've finally put him to the bottom of the list.
UPDATE: The little goober statement inspired some conversation that led to this statement.
Eh, that'll happen, just like they show up in unbelievable droves to gush about Eddie Van Halen. GOP cheerleaders have also gone after Clinton when Jimmy Carter is a more valid target. As to the general state of things, I see a busted political system where both parties have some answering to do. Both of course prefer to blame the other side rather than do their job and prefer to have us all throwing things at each other from armed camps so we don't talk to each other and come up with intelligent solutions of our own. I broke camp and took the middle ground, so now I wonder what all the fuss is about. Dubya isn't the demon or hero that some imagine, he's a regular guy with a tough job and he might suck at it.

UPDATE: Well, he's gone. New day in America, right? As to the claims that the country has been left in shambles, I'd suggest a more positive outlook. We go around acting whipped and we'll be whipped. I myself just threw down my best work week in over two years, so I personally will have none of this banter that would suggest that we've been living some nightmare. Sure, Dubaya kinda sucks, but we could have worse people run this place, TRUST ME.

I don't think you can chalk it up to any partisan conspiracy. Reagan is the highest rated modern president on list. This guy has flat out failed us - nothing wrong with calling it as it is.

That's also why he's here. Recent presidents that left a bad taste in in anyone's mouth get the cellar on this list.

It's true... it's tough to be a hero in your own lifetime (however: i don't think gwb will be a hero in anybody's lifetime).

This little goober says the Bush administration has put itself on the bottom of nearly everyone's list. Personal responsibility and all that.

And this little goober tends to agree...

You little goobers can agree all you want. When there are more than twice as many ratings for President Bush than any other president and several consecutive comments obviously made by the same person with more than one account, it's obvious not everything is kosher.

Jedi perspective. It really cleans up your mind...

While Dubya sure doesn't fit my idea of a 'regular guy', I must admit he did a bang up job of playing one on TV. (I think the 'ranch' set had a lot to do with his success.)

Still, I must agree that there's been a lot more rock throwing than nation building from politicians in both parties for quite some time now.

At best, I think Obama just might turn out to be as progressive as Ike, and that's not too terrible a thought to contemplate after a quarter century of almost mindless wingism.

While I don't think of Dubya as a demon from hell, I think describing him as a "regular guy" is a bit disingenuous.

Not regular in the sense that he like any of us, really, just that he is... unremarkable. (if that's a word)

Ahh.....fit's fiction.
