Many things really make Britney come to mind when I think of annoying pop stars. First, her false teenage modesty act was very easy to see through (no pun intended). A straight-up, proud-of-it sexually-liberated female is much more refreshing and honest. Her gum-smacking, vacuous gaze insults intelligence. The words that come out of her mouth are uninspiring, unoriginal, unthoughtful. Lastly, her publicity stunt Las Vegas marriage to her childhood sweetheart was repulsive, especially when we have gay people who would give their right arms for the right to be legally and respectably married in this country. They wouldn't treat marriage as a commodity to be tossed aside. The only thing I can say nice about her is that she can dance better than I ever could.
