Nebraska is probably the most plain (pun intended) state in the Union. Outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, etc.) are extremely limited as both the wildlife and terrain (pretty much 80,000 square miles of prairie) are unsuitable for such recreation. It has a decent university in UNL and of course excellent athletics (football and baseball). Not really worth visiting, unless you have relatives or want to watch a Huskers game in Lincoln. Just don't fall asleep on I-80!
