Lancaster University is one of the top 10 universities in the UK. It is a unique research led universities with many high tech centres such as the InfoLab21, which is deemed to be one of the top in Europe, along many research led centres in the management school. Building on its 5 departments, Lancaster university prides itself to have one of only two business schools to get the coveted 6* ranking. As well it achieved the EQUIS and AMBA accreditation and now has proceeded with the AACSB accreditation. The business school has unique programmes and has merged with top business schools in different continents to launch an international masters programme. Merge was done with the following top schools: INSEAD, McGill. The Management School has been awarded 9.5 million funding to extend the School's building with a new state-of-the-art Lancaster Leadership Centre. The funds have been made available from the Northwest Development Agency (NWDA) who pledged 4.5 million, with a further 5 million from Lancaster University.
The new facility will boast two additional 'Harvard style' lecture theatres, be host to the Lancaster Leadership Centre, have several dedicated high-spec group work areas and an impressive Hub where executive teaching and events can take place. The Lancaster Leadership Centre will provide a focus for outreach provision across the northwest region.
