We all see the undermining of the constitution through our own, unique ideological prism. Liberals see an effort at amending the Constitution to delineate marriage as between one man and one woman as undermining its sanctity and integrity. It's really not addressed anywhere in the US Constitution, therefore it is an issue for each individual state to determine. But read, verbatim, the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, and tell me again how gun control makes any constitutional sense. It's all a matter of whose ideological ox is being gored, and whose rights are being trampled. Don't even get me going on the right to an abortion being constitutionally guaranteed.
