Donovan

I remember Hurricane Elena in 1985. Although the damage to my home was minimal, it still caused much concern. I lost some trees and a large limb ended on my house. My children treated the whole event as an adventure but, deep down inside I think they were fearful like the rest of us.

05/09/2008		I was just north of you in St Pete during Elena. I remember that she just sat off the coast for a couple of days doing nothing until she remembered, "Ahhh...yes...Mobile, Alabama..." I do remember the sky getting dark brown and birds falling dead from th sky. A waste of masking tape...
