Every time someone says something about Logan Square, they have to mention the turnaround that has taken place there in the last 5-10 years.
Well it's true, it was the Latin Kings' home base for almost two decades, and now it is a bit more middle class and there's a lot more diversity. But unlike Wicker Park, Ukranian Village or Bucktown, there aren't a lot of businesses serving those new residents. Most of the bars, restaurants and stores are still oriented towards the Peurto Rican and Mexican population there. Of course, there are exceptions, but not many.
