Yeah, he really needs to work on his charm. What we need in this country is a charming president because when you're at war, everyone assesses your charming-ness. I'd really hate to lose the war on charm . . . Clinton certainly didn't lose that war, although it would have been helpful, in retrospect, if he had done something, anything in response to half a dozen terrorist attacks on his watch. But he certainly was charming. So is Gore, Kerry, Edwards, (need I go on?) . . .
