I guess a lot of people have had trouble with this OS, but personally it ran fine for me. I recently bought a new computer but on my old computer I had winME installed for over a year, got 5 weeks on uptime no problem, never had any bootup/shutdown errors and it hardly ever crashed. I did make a few little modifications though, such as the DLL entry in the registery that I added, and had cachemanager running.
On my new computer I installed winME again because I like this OS more than win98, simply because win98 is frozen after 3 days of use, unlike winME. I play some old games and a few of those cause trouble with win2k/XP. I admit winME has more trouble handling memory on this new computer, but I just made the registery change again and cachemanager runs, so we'll see how it goes from there.
