i thought this was over after the democratic convention. clinton had the look and feel of a winner and the people wanted to make a change. almost 62% of voters on election day voted against the incumbent president. even that nutty pipsqueak ross perot got 19% of the vote. even with clinton's considerable baggage, he won handily.
