Nissan Pathfinder

reviewed by Davidtx

Nissan introduced the Pathfinder in 1985. This midsize vehicle offers 15 m.p.g. in the city, 19 m.p.g. on the highway and comfortably seats five people.

Nissan Pathfinder 2

DavidTx - I bought my 1994 Pathy in May 2004. I like the way it looked and test drove in town. I live in Wyoming and drive to work all over the state and it is dissapointing me in performance.Going up hills it loses power, it shifts down when it should not.If someone could give me some input as to what kind of power it should have i would appreciate it.

Get a 5-speed, I've heard from people that the pathy lacks power in automatic. Personally I prefer a manual over anything but in this case I have a lot of power over automatic the thing that you're gonna have to deal with is the lack of power that this model has, it was stuck with a weak 3.0 V6 pushing out a small 153 HP but has pretty good torque for its HP with 180 they could have done better but we're stuck with what they didn't do to make it worse but its a good dependable vehicle, haven't had any problems with it at all its just people are a bit power hungry these days, i'm content with my power though, still enough to off-road
