True happiness doesn't come from going with your whims, rather it comes from being cool, calm, and rational. The good life is understanding your needs and living to your fullest potential. Passion's a good thing, but this little sentimental quote isn't the best way to express that. Emotion many times clouds one's judgment, and that's when you make unnecessary mistakes.
