Not personally. Plenty of large vehicle types require extra gas, so I think SUVs only get singled out because they are also a status symbol. The only person I know who openly admitted regretting her SUV choice was a real estate agent who had an occasional client have difficulties hopping in and out of her vehicle. At least SUVs allow soccer moms to have a hipper choice than the past fads of the minivan and the station wagon.
