I'm very passionately for gender equality but the tendency among feminists to devalue this profession greatly saddens me. Cooking, cleaning, washing and attending to the needs of the young are tasks just as arduous as factory work or office work. Children can be just as demanding and tenacious as any boss, if not more so! Also, in this modern age where children increasingly find role models on television or morality on the internet, a strong parental presence is even more important now than it ever was.
