I miss Ralph at times, the cogent, analytical side of him that could cut away the folds of an issue and reveal it for what it really is. But the religious flaming, the degrading name-calling, the endless obfuscating of his point by blending new comments into existing posts, making it appear he had already answered your objections . . . no, he played dirty at times. Take me on, head to head, leave the chronological trail for all to read (and decide with whom they agree) like everybody else does. But when you change existing posts to make it look like whoever is taking you on is incoherent . . .thanks, but I'll take the level playing field. And, when there are devout Christians who post their thoughts every day, and you spout about Jesus-on-a-stick? He was a thrill-ride, no doubt. But what makes a thrill ride thrilling is that minimal, but ever-present risk that the car might leave the tracks. Ralph's car left the tracks sometimes, with all of us in it.
