I was looking for a forum where there was more to it than Bush Sucks! and Kerry Sucks! RIA, with its rules of engagement, and posters of all political stripes, became a great forum for airing of views by anyone with an opinion. It was fun to post an opinion and read the reactions to it, and to engage a few people, both publicly and privately, to clarify their viewpoints, and mine. It is also rare to find a place where you can thoughtfully and politely engage your polar political opposite in a civil exchange, in an attempt to better understand him/her. But this is such a place. Does everybody play nice? Well, no. But some do. Enough do.
