In importance the Army is probably on Par with the Air Force as they are the only branch able to hold defeated territory in total war. After the AF and Army would be the Navy since it's the most efficient means of transporting mas quantities of US soldiers to war. The marines are probablyleast important (not saying their not useful, just we could live with out them) because the Army with it's 1 Million soldiers could easily replace them, but they are VERY helpful.
