One of only three current NBA franchises to exist since the league's inception in 1946, the Boston Celtics have won more league titles than any other team in the history of the NBA. With 16 championships, including 11 between 1957-69, the Celtics have been led by NBA legends such as Coach/GM/President Red Auerbach, Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, and Larry Bird. A panel of media members selected the 1964-65 and 1985-86 Celtics as two of the Top Ten Teams in NBA History. The Celtics play their home games at the Fleet Center in Boston, MA.
