Chris Matthews isn't a news anchor, he's the host of a commentary show, so there really isn't any obligation for him to be impartial. That said, I thought he was quite fair up until the 2004 presidential campaign got into full swing. I noticed he would give tough questions to Liberals and Conservatives alike, that is until he played Softball with John Kerry. The gleam in Matthews eyes made me think he was going to lean over and kiss guy.
