One of the last, and best, of the American punk bands from the Golden Period. Maybe there were others that followed, but Black Flag was really the last band from that genre that I ever followed, or was interested in. I guess I figured that after listening to them, anything else would be sort of anti-climactic. After all, Black Flag had sort of said everything there was to say. Who was ever going to do it better, or more intensely?
