Classy and eloquent. Kind of like the Walter Cronkite of Sports Announcers where you always feel assured when he is calling the game. Many years ago, he hosted a neat TV show called Sports Challenge which pitted athletes in a college-bowl like format. I still chortle at the time Enberg chided a foursome of old-time boxers who were getting beat rather badly by a team of LA Lakers (think gail Goodrich and Happy Hairston were a couple of guys on the team). Enberg commented how much quicker the Lakers team was on the buzzer. Of which Archie Moore replied, We'll see how quick these young men are in the Parking Lot.
