A pretty good film. Bogie as a reporter brought into the seedy side of boxing by crooked managers, promoters, and gangsters. Seems to based very loosely on a Primo Carnera type. Also features Max Baer, Jersey Joe Walcott and Rod Stieger. This was Bogies last film.
