Don't get me wrong, I love and respect General Franks and everything he does and has done for our country. That being said, I just don't think he has enough experience being in a Washington leadership position to handle being president. I think the man is a great leader and has all the atributes we could ever want or hope to have in a president, but when it comes down to it, he just doesn't have the political experience. Being a leader in the military and being a leader in the political ring are two very different things. The politcal world requires a certain amount of, diplomacy if you will that has to be developed over time. Even with just one term in the Senate, this man would have my vote, but as it is he is not the most qualified. However, if it came down to him and any other liberal, Franks all the way.
