Homosexuals Choose to be Gay - Special Rights Should Not Be Granted to Those Just Because of the Way They Choose to Behave 1

Yeah, homosexuals choose to be gay. Just like I "chose" to be born with pumpkin-colored hair. Not likely.

If you believe that homosexuals choose to be gay then you have to believe that they choose to have people call for their deaths.

You have to believe that they choose to have politicians enact legislation against them.

You have to believe that they choose to have families give their children false information about them. Information that each child will pass down generationally to their own families. Information designed to make their existence intolerable.

You have to believe that they choose to feel suicidal.. or submit to danger in hopes of being murdered.. or submit to silence and invisibility.

You have to believe that they choose to be feared.

You have to believe that they choose to be silenced with strangling, fists, prison, suffocation, rape, intimidation, drugging, ropes, guns, laws, menace, roving gangs, bottles, knives, religion, decapitation, and immolation by fire.

You have to believe that they choose to be pronounced "curable" by doctors.. as if their brains were a virus.

You have to believe that they choose to lose their constitutional rights against the government's invasion of their privacy.

You have to believe that they choose to be faced with electro-shock, drugs, and conditioning therapies.

You have to believe that they choose to be subject to loss of home, civil rights, jobs, and all conceivable freedoms.

If you choose to believe that anyone would opt for all of that then I guess it's easy enough for you to believe that someone would "choose" to be gay.

But you'd be wrong.

The act of Homosexuality is a choice, just a I choosen to marry and have a child. All that you have listed are things that have happened against Homosexuals and I would agree with you that it is a horrible world. (I certainly do not agree with insane prejudice.) So would I be right is saying that you think a rapist is that way because he or she was born with a rapist jean. Anyone that has been raped, would have a serious issue with that, as allot of Rapist use that to get off of his or her charges and sentences. I'm sorry we will have to agree to disagree. But I do understand were you are coming from!!!!

Exactly where are all of these terrible things happening to homosexuals...death threats? What legislation has been enacted "against" them? As far as I can tell...they sure as hell aren't being "silenced". What Constitutional right(s) have they lost? Can they no longer vote, hold public office, etc? Please let me know where all this is going on. China perhaps?

If you don't believe in sin and God then anything that is said from a Biblical base, will be turned away. All I was saying that if it's not a choice what is it? Cause in my OPINEON it is a choice. I have a right to say what I feel and believe, just as you have a right to choose NOT to believe in what I have posted.

Where are these things happening? Right here in the good old USA. Most of them, at least. Death threats? Yeah.. and murder. You should try reading the papers more often. A gay soldier bludgeoned to death in Virginia, a fifteen y/o thrown off a bridge in Bangor, Maine, two women burned in their home in California. Yes, only because they were gay. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. The ones that popped into my head at this moment. There are literally hundreds of examples throughout our history. Legislation? Yes, in numerous states.. recently struck down by the US Supreme Court, however. Not to mention all those anti gay marriage laws. Silenced? Yes, if they want to keep their jobs and enjoy all the rights afforded to other citizens. Obviously those who choose to continue hating homosexuals won't be convinced by anything I've written here so I'm done wasting my time. But really, you should try reading more and listening to the news.
