I don't have much to compare it to, but Bay Meadows is a blast. $1 beers, $1 hot dogs, live music - and oh yeah, the horse racing is good too. My only complaint is that it's tough to hear the race call from the grandstand. For those of you in the bay area, I strongly recommend a Friday night at Bay Meadows. It's a really good time.
