Yes, most Americans are very proud, even though there is little to be proud of these days. Its the cowboy mentality, the Im better than you approach at the rest of the world because we spend money foolishly and get whatever we want. As long as the individual person is happy, F the rest! Its sad really, but its absolutely 100% true. Most people have no idea whats going on or just how bad our government is selling them out. No, they are just proud to walk around wearing all their made in china gear. Who cares that some slave in a Communist country made it for them. (FYI - not all Americans are as uneducated as the previous rater on this page....or maybe it's just laziness, it's tough to hit that 'shift' key sometimes)
