...Another example of why I consider myself an-ex liberal..Contemporary liberals are for free choice-with two exceptions.They're against vouchers,which would give poor parents the same opportunities as rich parents,when it comes to alternatives to bad public schools...And ,they are also grossly hypocritical on the abortion vs. capitol punishment issue...I'm a religious Jew who didn't vote for Lieberman because he came out for partial birth abortions...I believe that aside from rape,incest or to save
the mother's life..abortions are basically immoral...On the other hand,assuming DNA backs up a murderer's
conviction...he (or she) should have the possibility to be executed.For anyone who questions whether the death penalty is a deterrant,lets try an experiment:odd days-jail;even days-electric chair.There is no damn reason why Sirhan Sirhan is still around,and abortion is like shopping at a Seven-Eleven.
