UPDATE:  Now since Canada has adopted its "human rights" agenda where it prosecutes people who speak politically incorrect material, be careful what you say in Canada as the human rights Taliban may institute a prosecution against you.  Mark Steyn should have taken note.  From now on, I am going to refer to our Taliban state to the north as Canuckistan.

ORIGINAL COMMENT:  It has some nice areas but nothing special. It is cursed with a second rate political system still clinging to the monarchy even though most Canadians care less about the Queen. All power goes to parliament and none to the people. It has carried political correctness to an absurdity, and is in danger of splintering by blockheaded tolerance of separatist sentiments. Its mass media outlets stink! Its leaders waste tremendous amounts of public dollars in graft, corruption and snafus. Canadians take pride in being open minded and friendly when actually they are jealous and mean-spirited with a huge chip on their shoulders because of a giant inferiority complex. Yeah, go ahead and visit but keep aware of the hypocrites around you. I've been there about fifty times. The Atlantic Provinces are still probably the best. Stay out of BC. It is just like the USA Pacific Northwest--nice climate but full of fruits and nuts. If you've seen Seattle, you've seen Vancouver.
