Okay, I have to say that before the launch of Fable, I was as excited as I had ever been for a game to come out. This, as Peter Molyneux said, was supposed to change RPG games forever. However, it simply added a few elements that made a game my unique, but not more fun. I enjoyed fable and especially liked that your decisions affected your character's appearance and status as a hero or villian, but this game lacked certain aspects that others have. For one, it was too short, I beat it twice in less than a week, and that was without playing it for hours on end a day. Also, its focus on the characters appearance etc., caused there to be hardly any equipment selection, nor skill selection. Other RPG's, such as Final Fantasy, contain hundreds of pieces of equiptment and many different spells and skills, to improve your character's ability in battle. In all, this is a defeinate rental.
