Abbott & Costello 5

The fabled "Who's on First" routine alone should be worth five stars.

Consider the rest of the package and these guys are a strong contender for the top spot.  I've provided a link below.

My favorite Abbott and Costello routine is lesser known but in my opinion, tops even their "Who's on first" bit. Lou showed through addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division that seven times thirteen equalled twenty eight. He also did this routine in their half hour television program which is where I first saw it. Bud and Lou owed Mr Fields (their landlord) 7 weeks rent at (get this) $13.00 a week. Lou gives him $28 and convinces him the bill is paid. The only routine I remember is Lou wrote the number 13 seven times vertically and Mr Fields started to add it up. He started with the threes saying "Three, six, nine, twelve, fifteen, eighteen, twenty one" and then Lou grabbed the marker and started counting the ones saying "twenty two, twenty three, thwenty four, twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven, twenty eight." Had I known this is ninth grade I might have passed algebra!
