George W. Bush is the 43d President of the United States. He has taken a stand on many contriversial issues, including taxpayer dollars going to private church charities, his opposition to same-sex marriage, his appointments of openly homosexual men to official government positions, his tax cuts and spending increases during increasing unemployment, the altering of Social Security, his liberal immigration policies, his scaling back of environmental reforms, and of course, his invasion of Iraq on what he now admits was faulty intelligence. He also traded Sammy Sosa away from the Texas Rangers.
