No problem whatsoever. But from reading a number of the other comments I think a definition in terms is wanting here. Just for the record.. openly gay means that a person acknowledges being gay and does not feel they need to hide the fact from anyone who asks. Period. It doesn't mean that they openly discuss any part of their lives with their students or with anyone else for that matter.
