Black Dahlia Murder

A beautiful, mysterious young woman is brutally murdered in Los Angeles in 1947, in a sadistically nightmarish manner that is nearly impossible to contemplate even today. No one was ever convicted of the crime, but, as with Jack the Ripper, that hasn't stopped people from speculating and writing books as to the identity of the human monster responsible.

One of the 20th century's most grisly unsolved mysteries. Elizabeth Short was a beautiful young woman who was butchered in the Los Angeles of 1947. Books have been written in the years since suggesting the possible identity of her killer, but nothing has been conclusively proven.
