If you're ever in Syracuse, NY, go to Liverpool (NW of city) on Route 57 to Heid's hot dog stand. They've served the best hot dogs year 'round for something like 80 years. A little advice: order the double hot dog in the single bun, but don't look for ketchup. Whatever you do, don't ask one of the employees for ketchup. You won't get ketchup, you'll get an attitude-laden, insulting lecture about all of the condiments they offer and why. Even if you like ketchup on your hot dog, and you find yourself in Syracuse, go to Heid's. Go to Dinosaur Bar-B-Q for dinner, though.
