The whole trouble with making a comment about Randy is that it's hard to be unique. Everyone likes this guy, acknowledges his politeness, his incisive wit, his deep, deep knowledge of boxing and cooking and so many other areas and his congenial way of expressing himself and his opinions. I think, sometimes it would be like meeting a West Coast version of Eschew, without the edgy, East Coast abrasiveness. Anyway, sitting down to dinner (and obligatorily, drinks) with Randy would be one of those special experiences, the kind you wish you had surveillance cameras to remember every little detail and voice inflection. Maybe we could appoint a stenographer. Any volunteers?
